Who are we? We are a non-profit organisation, founded by CrossFit athletes working together to provide Palliative Care for everybody around the world.
MISSION. To provide financial donations to non-profit Palliative Care centres, who support patients facing the advanced stages of incurable diseases.
VISION. To provide comfort and relief in the form of Palliative Care services to everybody suffering from the advance stages of illness.
WHY DO WE DO IT? Because we recognize quality Palliative Care as a human right and we want to support patients from within the local community.
The design of our logo is inspired by a Maori tattoo. Many athletes have tattoos. Cancer and other chronic degenerative diseases leave indelible scars on a patient’s life and on the lives of their loved ones. Like all tattoos, this one has spiritual, physical, emotional and social meanings and covers the four directions in which palliative care extends to alleviate the suffering of patients and their families.
“Supporting Fit for Care is an excellent way for all of us to encourage our efforts and this pain that we feel in achieving our personal bests , obtaining the top times or in making repetitions. Transforming it into a benefit for the people who are suffering from an illness, the pain of loneliness, and giving our efforts purpose, a new meaning”.Join us !

“Before being involved in FIT for CARE I had no idea what palliative care was. When I learnt what palliative care teams do for people I realized that it’s a priority service, because there will be a point in our lives when all of us could have that need, for ourselves or our loved ones.”

Would you like your interbox league to add a solidarity meaning, by supporting palliative care? The Fit for Care Affiliate League championship has its parallel story to the genesis of the association Fit for Care, supported by Malaga´s boxes. It’s thanks to this championship that the charity counts from the outset with the support of the community through a 100% charity event. In 2015 the final was held between the winners of the Malaga league and the Madrid league. In 2016 Seville and Navarra will also join the league.
The Main idea of the championship is to encourage the participation of all types of athletes. All qualifying events (open), will be accomplished in the box, for RX category and scaled category.
On the 12th of December there was a Solidarity Day held at the Zaragoza Crossfit Box in benefit of the Fit for Care organization.
